Mutant Year Zero – Trailer introduces Farrow

Publisher Funcom and developer The Bearded Ladies today introduced a new anthropomorphic heroine that will accompany Dux, Bormin and Co. on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from December 4th. In a new trailer Farrow is duly announced along with their abilities and new gameplay.

Farrow is one of the available characters the player will encounter during his journey through the Zone. After the first contact it quickly becomes clear: she is not from the area. Her true origin is a secret – even to herself. All she knows is her name is Farrow and she’s from the Zone. Her specialty is sneaking, with her skills and equipment she can quickly and quietly clear enemies out of the way. Her special ability, Silent Assassin, makes her a valuable team member especially when she can eliminate offside enemies at the beginning of a battle.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden combines a turn-based combat system a la XCOM with real-time stealth and exploration elements as players explore a post-human world. The studio consists of former lead developers of games like HITMAN and PAYDAY. Mutant Year Zero is based on the Swedish Pen & Paper RPG Mutant. The main roles are played by Bormin the wild boar, Dux the duck and a post-apocalyptic soil.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is developed by The Bearded Ladies and released by Funcom. More information can be found at www.mutantyearzero.com.
