Halloween is over, so it’s Christmas soon! And as an absolute lover of this festival, I couldn’t get in a better mood for it than with a suitable film – especially if it’s a Disney film! The two directors Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston dare to tackle the already numerously interpreted story about the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, but miss it with an interesting twist and thus create a film that can be seen alongside other Christmas classics!

After all 8 years had passed since then, until English could make the cinemas unsafe again. You had to wait almost as long for the now starting third part of the row. But has anyone been waiting for this? And if so, was it worth it?

Film review: Bad Times at the El Royale

Trailers are getting worse. Mostly too long, they show, depending on the genre, the best parts of the film, are cut to seemingly always the same music in the same way and do not shy away from massive spoilers. A trailer fan like me is happy when something really fresh comes along, like the trailer for “Bad Times at the El Royale”. If the film can also keep what the preview promises, then we have a happy critic and a film worth seeing at the start.
