Demo for pre-order Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden

Funcom has announced that Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, a tactical adventure that combines real-time exploration with turn-based combat à la XCOM, will be released on December 4 for XBOX Game Pass. The game will be released for PC and PlayStation 4 on the same day and is now available for pre-order on all platforms.

Preorder the Deluxe Edition for PC via buy.mutantyearzero.com and get immediate access to the first 2-4 hours of the game with a demo version.

In a new gameplay trailer, producer Mike Parker accompanies the audience through the Scraplands, a previously unseen area in the game. With the help of the stealth elements he gets a decisive advantage in the fight against the boss and his henchmen.

The studio consists of former lead developers of games like HITMAN and PAYDAY. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden was able to collect various awards and positive press reviews in advance with the first playable versions. The game was unveiled earlier this year in a CGI trailer whose anthropomorphic characters attracted attention. Mutant Year Zero is based on the Swedish Pen & Paper RPG Mutant. The main roles are played by Bormin the wild boar, Dux the duck and a post-human earth.

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is developed by The Bearded Ladies and released by Funcom. More information can be found at www.mutantyearzero.com.
