Worms Rumble announced

Team17 has revealed the first Details of Worms; in the Rumble, the brand-new title in the iconic and multi-award-winning Worms Franchise, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary.

Worms Rumble is the first game in the series, the real-time combat and cross-platform cross-play offers. Up to 32 players can Play in a number of arena maps, including a multi-level shopping Mall complete with its own missile silo. The game is supported by ongoing content updates, with new arenas and adjustments to complete. The player can level up your worm and ascend through the ranks and new weapons skins and character customizations, accessories and Emotes acquire. Today’s announcement reveals some of the weapons that find their way into Worms Rumble, if they come out later this year on the market, including the baseball bat, hand gun, Bazooka, assault rifle and the shotgun.

Worms Rumble Features:

• Worms runs in real time: Each round takes place in real time. If the enemies fire rain, back to unleash it immediately!
• Cross-platform multi-player mode for up to 32 players Play on PlayStation generations and PC, with Deathmatch and Last Worm Standing in the Solo and Squad-Battle-Royale-mode are available at launch.
• To play with classic weapons/new ways: you arm your worms with new and returning weapons, which are very popular among Fans, including the Bazooka, the Holy hand grenade and the hand cannon.
• Events, challenges and ‘The laboratory’: Take part in seasonal events, daily and community challenges and experiment in ‘The laboratory’ with new game mechanics and weapons.
• Player customization: you will Earn XP and in-game currency, weapons skins, Outfits, accessories and Emotes to unlock and to buy. The players can create your own personal style for the field of battle.

Worms Rumble will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC and will come to the end of 2020 on the market.
