New part of the Dev Diaries for DiRT Rally 2.0

The first DiRT Rally was already characterized by hard competition. DiRT Rally 2.0 will build on this strength even further. In the Codemasters Dev Diary, Chief Games Designer Ross Gowing introduces a short tour of the game, which players can look forward to when it’s time to climb the top of the leaderboards/table again in February.

DiRT Rally 2.0 brings numerous other innovations with it. In career mode, virtual rally drivers have to deal with tyre wear, changing track conditions, the weather and much more. As complex as the driving behavior is, as simple is the handling of the game itself: Those who want to go online on the hunt for world records, grab the “Bespoke Time Trial” mode, set up the basic conditions, go to the start and at the end of the stage perhaps even stand at the top of the world rankings.

DiRT Rally 2.0 will have two separate leaderboards separated for dry and wet conditions. Rain kings can therefore look forward to their very own special discipline. Allrounders have a double chance of being at the top of the podium.
