Special Operation 3 for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands

Ubisoft today announced Special Operation 3 for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, the third major free update of the second year of post-launch content. Special Operation 3 will be released on December 11th on all platforms.

The update features a brand new PvE mission, new PvP maps and classes, a new photo mode, and changes to the Prestige system based on community feedback. The Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Year 2 Pass offers seven days earlier access to the two new Ghost War classes, as well as an exclusive customization package. Players who do not have the Year 2 Pass will be able to access the new Ghost War classes from December 18th.

Special Operation 3 will also introduce a new photo mode that allows players to capture their most epic moments from Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. You can edit your images with effects and filters and then share them online using the system’s capture function.

Alongside the introduction of photo mode and the expansion of the PvE experience with a new mission, Special Operation 3 also brings new features for the PvP mode:

  • Two new PvP classes based on the new mission from Special Operation 3. (Available from 11 December for holders of the Year 2 Pass)
  • Two new PvP cards

Based on feedback from the community, improvements and new content will be added to the shop. More than 90 new items will be added, including a new package that focuses on Special Operation 3. There will also be updates to the Prestige system, building on the changes already made in Special Operation 2. Further information will follow shortly.

PC players who want to share the experience of Wildlands with friends can receive rewards such as Spec Ops and Ghost War Crates from December 11 to February 11, 2019 through the PC Referral Program Battle Crate. Invited friends who buy the game will also receive a Battle Crate reward. The more friends you invite, the more rewards you will receive.

Further information on the new PvE and PvP content will be published in the coming days. For players who want to try out the two new Ghost War classes early, the Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Year 2 Pass is digitally available. More information at ghostrecon.com
