PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) in December also for PS4

The Battle Royale game arrives in time for PlayStation 4 holidays with exclusive Uncharted- and The Last of Us-designed in-game content and limited pre-order packages.

PUBG Corporation (PUBG Corp.) announced that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be released on December 7 for the Sony PlayStation 4. PUBG can now be pre-ordered from PlayStation Store and participating retailers. Certain bundles are only available to pre-orderers.

“We are excited that PUBG continues to grow and that we can make our Battle Royale game available to new players,” said Changhan Kim, CEO of PUBG Corp. “PlayStation has an impressive community of passionate gamers and we can’t wait to become part of that community.”

The PlayStation 4 version comes with three cards to start with: Erangel, Miramar and Sanhok. The game contains all important features, the Ranked System, the Event Mode, Achievements and more. Pre-orderers will also receive two exclusive items: a Nathan Drake outfit known from Uncharted and Ellie’s backpack from The Last of Us. PlayStation 4 Pro players can also look forward to stylish HDR effects.

PUBG will be available in three different pre-order bundles until the launch:

Looter’s Edition

  • basic version of the game

Survivor’s Edition

  • basic version of the game
  • Survivor Pass: Vikendi
  • 2,300 G-Coins
  • 20,000 BPs

Champion’s Edition

  • basic version of the game
  • Survivor Pass: Vikendi
  • 6,000 G-Coins
  • 20,000 BPs

The Survivor Pass: Vikendi, included in the Survivor’s and Champion’s editions of the game, gives players the ability to dust off additional rewards. The Survivor Pass: Vikendi will also be available separately for PC, PS4 and Xbox. Detailed information will be announced in the coming weeks.
