HTC and Midas Labs in Q2 App for the Monero Mining

The Taiwanese electronics giant HTC is bringing crypto Mining on Smartphone HTC Exodus.

HTC Exodus 1s Smartphone users will soon be able to mine some Monero directly on your Smartphone. HTC, a major Taiwanese consumer electronics companies, has partnered with the ASIC-chip-design-company-Midas Labs together, in order to allow the users of the Blockchain-powered Smartphones Exodus from HTC to take advantage of your devices directly for the removal of Monero (XMR). This is an App with the name DeMiner happen, developed by Midas Labs. According to the joint press release, the App will be available to the Smartphone users expected within the next three months of the second quarter of this year, through the end of June, available.

The partners further agree that the DeMiner App works when the phone is plugged in, and that it is designed in a way that disables the Mining automatically when the phone is used regularly and if the charger is unplugged, so that the normal operation of the phone is not affected. In addition, the App is designed in such a way that a Smartphone with a Desktop Computer comparable Hash Rate, but “much less” electricity consumed, says Dr. Jri Lee, founder and CEO of Midas Labs and a Professor at the National Taiwan University. “On the basis of Open-Source Frameworks, we have structured the mining industry for mobile phones, new, and optimized,” he says, and adds that user to the Exodus 1s will be able to, on average, at least 0,0038 USD XMR per day to reduce, “while the cost of electricity is less than 50% of that amount”.

What concerns the reasons for this step, the consumer electronics giant argues that this “was an important breakthrough for the crypto-community”, because it brings all the goal of the company closer, to increase the security of block chains and mining has been to decentralise, by it cost him practically, efficiently, and in order for the masses of available power.

The crypto world is threatened by the mastery of the Hash Rate by huge Mining Pools,“ says Phil Chen, Dezentralized Chief Officer at HTC. “The most effective way to eliminate this Problem is to make Mining for the masses, accessible, and mobilization,” he says, and adds that Monero, a Token, where the privacy is the focus, “fits very well in the Exodus-Vision”. As reported, the 1s as Bitcoin (BTC), a Full Node is operable. By means of the Installation of the corresponding Software, which allows devices to verify the blocks in the Bitcoin network, and to process, can keep the Exodus 1s the entire Bitcoin Ledger in the memory.

In the meantime, Midas Labs has also announced a Seed funding round, led by the Deep-Tech-Venture-Capital-Fund Proof-of-Capital, in which a General Partner is, and an undisclosed sum is applied.

HTC launched its Exodus 1 in October 2018, and a year later it introduced its Exodus 1s. In March of this year, the company announced its work on a new Blockchain Router with the name Exodus 5G Hub that will enable users to operate a full Bitcoin node and Relay transactions, so that a third party is superfluous. Also this should be in the 2. Quarter of 2020 available for purchase be.
