Ghost Giant in the short test

One of the areas where VR really comes up trumps is that, for us in the best escapism fashion, in other worlds to kidnap – and in the world of Ghost, the Giant to hatch, we are very happy.

Who has not dreamed to have a supernatural friend who can stand with all sorts of problems? In the cute Ghost Giant slips her, for once not in the role of lucky Helped, but in the role of the good-natured helper and may, as a giant blue creature in ensuring that the not-so-easy life of the little Louis, a little (or a little more) is better.

Louis lives on a Farm, the family has little money, the rats ate the last seeds, and yet he does not lose the courage. Certainly not, as it appears to stand to him with a helping Hand – two hands, to be exact – to the side. By means of a simple Grab, Lie down,Throw, cranks to Levers, and more is plucking her giant weed, find useful items, give start-up aid for his car, clears obstacles on the road out of the way, and more.

A lot more is there in Ghost Giant in terms of Gameplay, not to do – but that doesn’t matter, because the Highlight of the short (in the cut, playing in just three hours), but incredibly sweet story told is exactly this. To spoilers without: compassion and the one or the other dust grain in the eye are inevitable. As a scene of fairy-tale farm landscapes, dreamy forests and sleepy towns, in which Louis and his friends and Acquaintances, frolic, serve, during the Events of pretty melodies, nice sound effects and a beautiful edition of accompanied language. The only minus point is that The control was on the Oculus Quest, unfortunately, Often not as well as I – just the Throwing of objects, and those passages in which you had to Blow into the microphone the Wind, were somewhat stubborn, and have often needed several Attempts.

CONCLUSION

Ghost Giant offers neither complex Gameplay (the puzzles are all very easy to solve and there are tons of instructions, you should once depend), nor is it a particularly long time – none of it disturbing, though. What you can expect here are three hours full of emotional Story, with sweet characters that you will connect in an instant to the heart, and many a life lesson. The Only thing the experience is clouding something that is (at least on the Oculus Quest) part of something Bucky control – but you can largely ignore. To me there is a definite recommendation for all those who want to lose themselves for a few hours in a bitter-sweet fairy-tale world.
