Batman Metal (Panini Comics)

Bruce Wayne, alias Batman, can look back on a long history with many incarnations and stories. During which – in my opinion – best, rather down-to-earth nature, there are those that blow up in your madness with all the frame. Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo deliver the Event Batman Metal such. The coming together of the Justice League with the name-giving metals is completely crazy, wonderfully weird and epic. Even if Batman Metal at first glance, not my ideal image of the bat corresponds to, I sat almost continuously with a wide Grin in front of the Comic.

There are metals, completely out of our understanding. Those whose origin is beyond the known multiverse lie. The Nth metal, Carter Hall, aka Hawkman, his powers gives, is one of them. Batman is the secret on the track and penetrates to the search for answers deeper and deeper into the past of Hawkmans. Not realizing what a dark inter-dimensional beings, he opens with his investigation door and gate. He was, perhaps, in the end, only a puppet, which should be initiated by the arrival of the personalized Evil? To his mistake, and to be able to fight against the absurd distorted images of the dark knight, we need Batman on the entire might of the Justice League.

Childhood hero

Batman, no other fictional character has been with me for so long and in my comic book preferences are shaped like the dark knight. In a reality in which heroes like Wonder Woman, Aquaman, or Superman exist, appears to me to be the relatively down-to-earth Batman obsolete. Therefore, I had hardly any contact with the New 52 universe, or the other offshoots of the main series . Only The death of the family by Scott Snyder made it into my collection. Here closes the circle to the Batman Metal, the Snyder is one of the leading minds behind the wacky Event. Together with former Spawn artist Greg Capullo, he sends Batman and the Jusitce League on a trip, which would have to hide before a large Event cinema.

Praise be to the Metal, the dark Lord

Batman Metal works in the German-speaking countries under the Panini publishing house, with a total of 5 books and a complete collection appeared. In General, it must be Batman Metal visually, not in front of other adventures of the bat to be ashamed of. The character style and the character design has pleased me very well, and despite the really wacky situations the action is designed to always be very clear.

CONCLUSION

Batman Metal has me the not easily made. For one, because I see Batman on the loved one as a gloomy loner and, therefore, of the Justice League, hardly anything can start. On the other, some lacked previous knowledge, since I have been following the current series, and therefore, some cross-references don’t mind. As soon as I had resigned myself to me and to the crazy nature of the story, from the pen of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo was able to engage, I had tremendous fun with it. This is mainly due to the wonderfully wacky villains to. The tip of the spear of the malicious cluster is without question The Batman the Laughs.
